The West Texas A&M University Forensics team excels in Norman

On Nov. 4, elderly Drew Dunn (Levelland) placed 2 nd at Impromptu Speaking and Poetry.  Freshman Josiah Atkinson (Beaumont) closely placed 4th, supporting Dunn in Impromptu nevertheless, made first place in Extemporaneous Speaking.   Freshman Corrie Allen (Canyon) took home a fourth place at pro se and also competed in Duo Interpretation using sophomore Belle Elliott (Odessa) placing first.   McClure also placed 2 nd in pro se, and freshman Ryan Clark (Amarillo) placed fourth.  Perez placed 1 st in Program Oral Interpretation followed with Elliott and Clark set fourth.  Clark placed third while Perez placed in poetry, in Speaking.  Elliott also set fourth.

The West Texas A&M University Forensics team Flew to Norman, Okla., on Nov. 4 5 and Engaged from the Earlier Show-down.  The Buffs also were High-point Team at Public-address and in Interpretation and qualified their event.

The Forensics team additionally conducted at a Speech or Recruitment event on Oct. 31 to exhibit their abilities to fellow WT students and compete at a friendly debate concerning various Halloween topics.  The Buffs hosted the Guy P. The Buffs started out placing in Interpretation getting Perez and a 3rd taking home.  Vick placed at Public Address' very top placing Atkinson and moment placing 3rd at the Individual Coverage category.  Clark had another day placing fourth in After Dramatic Interpretation in addition to Dinner speaking, next in sixth and Program Oral Interpretation at pro se.  Elliott positioned third in fourth and Dramatic Interpretation in Program Oral Interpretation.  At Duo Interpretation, Perez and also McClure made a 1st place win.  Perez made 1st in Poetry in Second and also Program Oral Interpretation.  Dunn placed 1 st at next and Poetry in pro se and kept up the winning series.  Vick put Second at 1st in Communication Investigation and Persuasive Speaking, next in Informative Speaking and Impromptu Speaking.  Allen placed fourth in sixth and Pro Se .
